Thunder Mustang Gets Airworthiness Certificate

GeorgeLucyWithACAfter years of hard work, George and Lucy Walters’ Thunder Mustang project is now officially an airplane. DAR Vic Syracuse from the Atlanta area flew in early Sunday morning, November 2, 2014 to inspect the airplane. After a thorough inspection and much paperwork, the Walters were presented with an Airworthiness Certificate and complimented on a job well done. A customary toast at the Walters’ hangar was had that afternoon.

Congrats George and Lucy!
